My general army composition and approach is around 4 marauders as a center line, a couple of spears to manage large units (moving them to meet the large units or prevent cavalry flank charges), three sets of javelins, 3-4 calvary or hounds to harass enemy warmachines/archers. Throgg is even more of a hammer in the respect from the start.Ģ.
Don't just throw them away though without close support. I use them to hold and smash the enemy center line and after I've got Wulfrik up a couple levels he starts just behind the battle line and then charges aggressive enemy generals to kill them as soon as possible and hopefully put the enemy into disarray. Your Lord (both Wulfrik and Throgg) are your best weapons. I'm on my second campaign as Norsca (both starting as Wulfrik, so some thoughts are from that starting perspective) so far for me in battles is:ġ. First and generally speaking, I'd suggest this guy's channel more for general help (it's not norsca specific) but a lot of the tactics you see in his beginner campaign and in the battle replays (these are astounding, imo) are applicable. I'm not an expert by any means with just a couple of campaigns under my belt. (I found some unit guides but that didn't get me much further I'm afraid)
